This week in golf, we have The Masters. Always such a great tournament and one I am looking forward to.
Augusta is such a fantastic course, and we have had a few changes to the course since last year, in particular White Dogwood and Firethorn seeing some increased length along with Azalea.
Quite a few changes and I’m really looking forward to it. Hopefully can get some good betting action going to, to follow on from our success of a winner at The Players Championship.
Let’s get right into it. And hey as it’s the Masters – rather than my usual 1u amount split over multiple golfers let’s go 2u and live a little.
Weather wise, Saturday looks to be the crucial day and whoever makes the biggest dent on Saturday I think will be the winner.
Let’s get right into it. GIR, Scrambling and SG T2G are the biggest factors I am considering today.
Unfortunately, at 4/1, I cannot back Scottie Scheffler. Do I think he should be favourite? You know it. Is it an +EV bet at those odds? No it is not.
Rory is also tempting simply because he is working with Butch. But the odds are just too short for me.
3/4u on Xander Schauffele To Win & E/W 1-8 at 14/1
I think there is enough value on Xander to back him here. He has had a lot of impressive performances here, is playing well, and is third on the data for me (behind Scottie and Rahm).
He is playing some goddamn good golf right now, is big on that all important T2G metric,
1/4u on Si Woo Kim E/W 1-8 @ 66/1
He has never been able to perform super well here breaking the Top 20 only once. But his game looks good in his last couple of performances, and he stands out in the metrics.
